Film & Flexible Plastic Washing Line

Film wraps around shafts and floats instead of sinking. This line is built around gentle conveying, wet size reduction, intensive washing and squeezing rather than a rigid-plastic route.

Scope

Built for low bulk density

Film, bags and woven sacks behave differently from rigid scrap at every stage — feeding, size reduction, washing and dewatering all need a different machine configuration.

Woven bag and film washing line for flexible plastics

Material fit

LDPE film, agricultural film, shopping bags, woven bags, jumbo bags and mixed flexible packaging.

Wet granulation and friction washing stage for film

Contamination handled

Soil, sand, organic residue, paper labels and printing ink on film surfaces.

Squeezed and dewatered film after washing

Output quality

Squeezed film with surface water removed, ready for thermal drying or densifying.

Technical data

Reference line configurations

Published washing-line series values. Film lines are usually sized by wet throughput, which is lower than the dry figure for the same model.

Film throughput depends strongly on bulk density and contamination; the wet capacity for film is confirmed in a material trial and is [To be confirmed] per project.

Process

Process sequence

Anti-wrapping handling at the front end is what separates a working film line from a blocked one.

Bale opening

Bales are loosened without tearing the film into unfeedable tangles.

Anti-wrapping feed

Controlled conveying prevents film from wrapping on shafts.

Wet size reduction

Cutting in water keeps the film moving and starts soil removal.

Intensive washing

Friction washing lifts soil and organic residue from the film surface.

Squeezing

Mechanical squeezing removes the bulk of the water.

Thermal drying

Residual moisture is driven off before densifying or granulation.

Machines inside this line

Squeezing and drying are chosen for film, not scaled down from a rigid-plastic line.

FAQ

Common questions

Why not use a rigid-plastic line for film?

Film wraps around crusher rotors and floats instead of sinking, so feeding, size reduction and dewatering all need dedicated equipment.

How is capacity measured for film?

By wet throughput. Because bulk density is low, the same model handles fewer kilograms of film per hour than of rigid scrap.

Can the line handle agricultural film with high soil content?

Yes, with a heavier pre-wash and soil-removal stage. The configuration depends on the soil load in your material.

What moisture does the film leave at?

The published outlet moisture for the series is 2% or lower after drying; the figure before drying depends on the squeezing stage.
