PET flake with silicone seals, rubber gaskets, PVC labels, and mixed rigid plastic fractions.

Silicone seals, rubber gaskets and PVC labels behave like the plastic they contaminate. This dry line uses air classification and high-voltage electrostatic separation to separate them without water.
These fractions have similar density and colour, so float-sink and optical sorting both struggle. Air classification separates by aerodynamic behaviour; electrostatic separation by surface charge.

PET flake with silicone seals, rubber gaskets, PVC labels, and mixed rigid plastic fractions.

Silicone and rubber pieces, film and paper labels, dust and light fines.

Plastic fraction with silicone and rubber content reduced; final purity depends on feed uniformity and moisture.
Air classification and silicone sorting units are specified separately; the two are combined into one line for mixed contamination.

Published values. Actual results depend on material form, moisture content and feed uniformity — a material test is required before a performance figure is committed.
Dry process, so no water treatment and no drying cost.
Material is metered in a single layer for stable separation.
Light film, paper and fines are lifted out of the stream.
Charged silicone and rubber are deflected from the plastic path.
Remaining seals and gaskets are identified and ejected.
Separated fractions discharge to individual outlets.
Each sorting unit is available standalone for integration into an existing line.
Silicone and rubber have densities close to the plastics they contaminate, so they do not separate reliably in water. Dry electrostatic separation works on surface charge instead.
Yes. High moisture causes particles to stick and reduces separation quality, so material should be dry and free-flowing.
Published recognition accuracy for the silicone sorter is 99.5% or higher. Real output depends on feed uniformity, moisture and contamination level, so a material test is required.
PVC is addressed by the electrostatic stage; the exact split depends on the PVC content and particle size in your material.
